What inspired you to get involved?
I applied for the role of Wellbeing Officer because I have some experience in this area, in secondary school I was a mental health ambassador and I'm quite experienced at dealing with mental health issues and neuro divergent conditions both personally and in regard to other people.
I felt like I wanted to bring this experience to the role and help make the club as safe and welcoming as possible for the greatest number for people.
About Me:
I am a history and politics student studying on island with the Open University. I've just completed my second year and have one more to go. For the past four years I have worked as a seasonal worker for Guernsey's Museum Service at the naval signals HQ and Castle Cornet.
I am deeply passionate about history and politics, and humanities subjects. I care very deeply about the social issues facing people in Guernsey and the Channel Islands in general and have a desire to get involved in actively making positive change in future.
