Meet The Founder and President

Hello! I founded this club and started working on the idea early on in 2026. It’s been months in the making and here we are now!

My role as Club President means that I oversee the general running of the club and get stuck in with every aspect. I am the main point of call for the club and lead on all major decisions and pushing the initiative further. 

I formed the committee to start delegating specific roles to those who wanted to get involved and gain leadership and management experience. I work with them to ensure everything runs smoothly within the club and outside of the club with our external community connections. 

I’m a real ‘people person’ with a passion for community-building and making impact through social change. I studied Educational Psychology at university in the UK but had to drop out just before the end of my course due to the impacts of abuse I endured in my first year of study. Despite not graduating this summer, I’ve been focussing my work on what’s important to me; supporting my family’s hospitality business full-time, leading my island club, and endeavouring to bring a rape deterrence initiative to Guernsey to protect others in my community from what I’ve been through. 

I know that change happens when we work together, and I am grateful to Guernsey’s community for supporting me with this club initiative!
